About Each School:

Serves approximately 650 students in grades 9-12 grade. We operate on a block schedule, utilizing four 76-minute periods per day, and four classes per semester, with all students taking 8 classes per year. At Eastern York High School we are committed to building relationships, reaching all students where they are, and helping all students grow. Eastern York High School has been designated by U.S. News & World Report as a Best High School for seven consecutive years. We’ll provide a variety of opportunities for our students which include:
• Workplace experiences, internships, and apprenticeships as part of our School-to-career program
• 3 state-certified Career and Technical Education programs in the areas of Diversified Occupations, Agriculture, and Marketing
• Dual enrollment coursework with over a dozen colleges and universities
• Recently added Air Force Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corp program (JROTC)
• Variety of extracurricular activities, clubs, and organizations, such as DECA, Future Farmers of America, Project Hope, and Student Council to name a few

Serves 540 students in grades 6-8. Emphasizing a growth mindset, our educational philosophy encourages students to embrace challenges and view effort as crucial to learning. Beyond academics, a wide range of extracurricular activities supports student development, preparing them for the 21st-century world. Eastern York Middle School has been designated by U.S. News & World Report as a Best Middle School for two consecutive years. The Pennsylvania “Schools to Watch” leadership team announced that Eastern York Middle School met the strict STW criteria and has been recognized for 2023-24 “Schools to Watch.”

Canadochly Elementary School is a neighborhood school that was established upon the unification of a number of small schoolhouses into the Eastern Joint School System in 1954. Today, our school strives to maintain a collaborative culture that promotes professional growth and is proudly committed to our district’s vision for modern learning. We have been focused on furthering transparency of learning, the key to empowering our learners and their families. We look forward to sharing practices that promote transparency, such as our use of roadmaps, data notebooks, and our badging system, all of which are meant to make the expectations of proficiency scales and standards-based grades more accessible to everyone.

Kreutz Creek Elementary is a small K-5 neighborhood school located in Hellam, PA. The school was established in 1955 and currently educates approximately 330 students. Many of our students come from diverse backgrounds. We provide a variety of services, such as Title I, ELL, special education programming, and a therapeutic behavioral transition program just to name a few. Some additional highlights about our school include:
• Approximately 14% of our students receive special education services
• A strong PTO that supports teachers and students to ensure a positive school experience
• Extracurricular opportunities such as Envirothon and Girls on the Run
• Community Engagement Officer (Therapy Dog) that travels with our School Resource Officer

Wrightsville Elementary School is a K-5 building serving 360 students, was constructed in 2003 and is connected to the Eastern York School District Central office administration building. At Wrightsville, we are committed to building relationships, reaching all students where they are, and modernizing and personalizing learning at scale to help all students to grow. Wrightsville Elementary School has been designated by U.S. News & World Report as a Best Elementary School for two consecutive years.
